Supervision is an essential part of maintaining and increasing the quality of our professional endeavours as practitioners in the helping professions. As a supervisor my intent is to provide a welcoming space where you can step back and examine your work, where I can offer you a relationship which is supportive and non-judgmental. Somewhere that will enable you to continue to grow and develop into the most effective practitioner you can be, thus enabling you to work more skilfully and ethically with your clients.
Supervision is about more than helping you reflect on how you are working with a client. Holding up a mirror to our work in supervision gives us the opportunity to become even more effective. Supervision can help us regain a sense of balance by creating a space to think and reflect on what is happening to us as practitioners and to our clients.
I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Consultative Supervision and have supervised NHS staff over many years. I work with supervisees either individually, or in a group of up to three members. My fee and cancellation policy are the same as with individual clients.
